Medalhão Comemorativo da visita do Rei da Dinamarca á cidade de Londres a 3 de Julho de 1893.

Description of the medal:

OBVERSE: Bust of H.M. King Cristian IX. and the Queen, to the left. Legend . - Christianus IX et Louise. D.G. Daniae V.G. Rex et Regina.

REVERSE: Figure representing the city of London, Holdingin her right hand the Coty´s Address to the king of Dnmark, whith her left arm she supports a standard, from the head of which filies a streamer, inscribed " Welcome Christian IX. to London." Her left hand rests upon a Shield charged whith the City arms., to the left is a pedestal bearing on its front a Shield charged with the Arms of the King of Denmark, and surmounted with the Danish Royal Crown, upon the pedestal is a casket in whitch the address was presented. To the right is seen part of the front of the Guildhall. in the exergue the date of the King´s visit, "July 8th, 1893".
